Pad Printing transfers permanent 2D prints onto odd-shaped or irregular 3D objects by way of a 'stamp' with a soft pre-cast pad. It is a very efficient method for production-level printing once it is underway, but its set-up requirements make it a steep investment for one-off projects & prototyping.
